Eine Typologie vulneranter Theologien im Kontext kirchlicher Missbrauchsmuster

Abstract

Die vorliegende Untersuchung analysiert die Rolle theologischer Konzepte und Praktiken im Kontext sexuellen und spirituellen Missbrauchs in der katholischen Kirche. Basierend auf empirischen Befunden der Missbrauchsforschung wird eine Typologie vulneranter Theologien entwickelt, die das Verletzungs-potenzial theologischer Inhalte systematisch erfasst. Die Studie unterscheidet drei Typen: instrumentalisierte Motive, inhärent gefährliche Strukturen und viktimisierende Logiken. Als methodischer Ansatz wird eine Vulneranzhermeneutik vorgeschlagen, die theologische Traditionen systematisch auf ihr Macht-und Verletzungspotenzial hin untersucht.

This study analyzes the role of theological concepts and practices in the context of sexual and spiritual abuse in the Catholic Church. Based on empirical findings from abuse research, a typology of vulnerant theologies is developed that systematically captures the harmful potential of theological content. The study distinguishes three types: instrumentalized motifs, inherently dangerous structures, and victimi-zing logics. A vulnerance hermeneutics is proposed as a methodological approach that systematically examines theological traditions for their potential for power and harm.
