Vol. 7 (2025): DEFORMED

					View Vol. 7 (2025): DEFORMED

DEFORMED invited writers to explore the unsettling transformations that shape identity, place, and perception. How do we respond when the familiar becomes unrecognisable – when personal growth, cultural displacement, or societal pressures fracture the image of who we are? How do we articulate the estrangement of familiar spaces, or the uncanny resonance of what once felt secure? Through narratives that confront the grotesque, the gothic, and fractures of identity, this theme seeks to unravel the contours of change.
