• Bachelor of Science (BSc) Food Chemistry

    The bachelor programm food chemistry teaches in the first four semesters basic courses and lectures in the fields of chemistry, biology, mathematics and physics. Based on this, semesters four to six offer a broad general education in food chemistry, food and feed analysis, microbiology and food hygiene, food technology as well as additional studies. In the sixth semester, a bachelor's thesis on current aspects of food chemistry has to be prepared.

    All courses and lectures are given in German language only!

    A BSc degree in Food Chemistry is mandatory for the application to the Master of Food Chemistry programme.
