Bei Bewerbungen außerhalb Deutschlands gelten für fast alle Länder unterschiedliche Konventionen und Formalitäten, was die Bewerbungsunterlagen angeht. Wenn Sie sich also für ein Land entschieden haben und Ihre Recherche Sie zu möglichen Praktikumsgebern gebracht hat, dann müssen Sie sich für das spezielle Land über die jeweiligen Modalitäten genau informieren.
Dies können Sie vor allem in unserem Inforaumtun, in dem Sie Bewerbungsratgeber direkt aus einzelnen Ländern finden. Darüber hinaus gibt es im Inforaum in den Büchern der Rubrik „Arbeiten im Ausland“ häufig auch Hinweise zu den einzelnen Bewerbungsmodalitäten. Online course “Applying for Jobs and Internships in Ulysseus Countries”
Since November 2023, the University of Münster has been a member of Ulysseus, one of currently 73 European University Alliances (as of October 2026) funded by the European Commission and the EU within the framework of Erasmus+. The Ulysseus community consists of eight alliance partners:
This online course is organized by the Careers Service of the University of Münster together with experts on the field of Careers Education of the partner universities in the Ulysseus European University Alliance. It was designed to provide students with the strategies they need to improve their chances of getting a job or an internship in one of the countries where the network partner universities are located (Germany, Austria, Slovakia, France, Spain, Finland, Montenegro and Italy).
Students can explore key topics such as navigating the local job market, crafting tailored CVs and cover letters, preparing for interviews, introducing themselves in professional networking contexts (both online and in person), and understanding cultural aspects of working in the country of their choice. Additionally, they will receive practical resources to help them plan their stay.
After completing this course, students will be able to:
• recognize the most popular search strategies for jobs and internship positions in the target country
• identify the structure of cover letters and CVs
• prepare for job interviews and networking events by taking cultural aspects into account
• familiarize themselves with legal aspects of work and internships in the country of their choice
Language: English; some documents and resources are offered in the language of the target country
