Classics of Mystical Spirituality
Lecture in winter semester 2026/27
As part of the global research project "PRISM: Program in the Study of Mysticism", Prof. Dr. Perry Schmidt-Leukel will be giving a lecture on "Classics of Mystical Spirituality" during the 2026/27 winter semester. The lecture offers an accessible introduction to classical texts of mystical spirituality from China, Japan, India, Arabia and Europe. It focuses not only on comparing different mystical traditions, but also on their potential contribution to contemporary spirituality.
