As part of the "Emerging Scholars Research Asia (ESRA)" series, Dr. Yizhou Wang from Hong Kong Chu Hai College gave a talk on Friday, 17 July 2026, on the topic "Reconsidering Ming-Qing Representations of Nature through the Lens of the 'Little Ice Age'".
The lecture was held in cooperation with the Emmy Noether research group "Traces of the 'Little Ice Age' in early modern German Literature (LitLIA)".
