Final Thesis
We offer a wide range of topics for final theses, spanning from purely theoretical work to hands-on, engineering-focused projects.
Currently available thesis topics include:
- Succinct data structures (survey-oriented, with an emphasis on implementation)
- Parallel block tree construction (preferably on the GPU)
- Faster block tree queries (primarily theoretical)
- Parallel suffix array construction (mostly implementation)
- Dynamic learned data structures (Master’s thesis only; a balanced mix of theory and practice)
If you are interested in any of these topics, please contact Florian Kurpciz. You are also welcome to reach out if you would like to propose your own topic related to the group’s research.
