We congratulate Hannah Pauly on receiving the doctoral scholarship from the Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes. The Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes is one of Germany's scholarship foundations and awards scholarships to talented doctoral candidates who demonstrate in several selection processes outstanding academic and personal qualities. With a duration of 36 months, Hannah will receive financial and idealistic support for her doctoral research. Collaborating with her supervisors, Prof. Bernd Strauss, Prof. Svenja A. Wolf (Florida State University), and PD. Dr. Dennis Dreiskämper, Hannah is working on expanding the "Theory of Challenge and Threat States in Athletes" using the concept of "Effort" as part of her doctoral studies.
