Research data management

In current research processes, large amounts of data are increasingly being generated and processed. Research data can come in many different forms, such as surveys, measurement results, recordings, transcriptions, computer models, etc.
This data, which is usually unique and generated with considerable effort, must be adequately indexed, archived and made available for future subsequent use. In 2017, the University of Münster adopted principles for the handling of research data.
