Dr. Dr. Boris Skryabin: Transgene Tiere
Transgene Tiere
The main research interest of our group is to study /in vivo/ function of the non-protein coding RNA's (npc-RNA's) in the brain. In order to do this we are applying
transgenic mouse model with "plus" or "minus" functions. This means we are creating either transgenic mice overexpressing npc-RNA's, or
expressing primate specific npc-RNA's in mice, or we are creating gene targeted mice with the conditionally or conventionally deleted npc-RNA genes. As a service for the
IZKF, we are creating the transgenic and knock-out mice for others genes of interest for different research groups. In the past years we have created number of different
transgenic mouse lines and several knock-out animals. Among them: the BC1 conventional and conditional KO animals, the S100A9 (MRP14) KO mice, guanylyl
cyclase-A receptor conditional KO mice, the ion channel polycystin-2 KO animals, the conditional KO of the PROSAP-1 and PROSAP-2 genes, the INCA1 KO mice and
others.
anderem BC1 konventionelle und konditionale Knockout- Tiere, S100A9 (MRP14) KO-Mäuse, Guanylyl cyclase-A Rezeptor konditionale KO-Mäuse,
Ionenkanal Polycystin-2 KO-Mäuse, konditionale Knockout der PROSAP-1 und PROSAP-2 Gene, INCA1 KO-Mäuse.
