The NMR spectroscopy laboratory
The NMR
spectroscopy laboratory is equipped with several supraconducting magnet systems working at
200, 300, 360, 400 and 600 MHz. The Bruker ARX300 works with a QNP-probe and sample changer.
The Bruker AMX400, also working in sample changer mode, is optimized for the measurement of
invers detected 2D-NMR-spectra. The Bruker AM360 is specialized for the detection of X-nuclei. The
high field of the Varian Unity plus 600 and its modern equipment, including invers detection, pulsed
field z-gradients and pulseshaping, offers most of the advanced NMR-techniques. All measured
NMR-data are provided on a central server.
The group performs the NMR service for the
different research groups of the institute, but is also engaged in the aid for solution of structural
problems of other faculties inside the university. The group is prepared to organize NMR-training
courses for graduate students.
