Supramolecular chemistry and new synthetic methods

Supramolecular chemistry and new synthetic methods: Receptors and catalysts based on triphenylene ketals offer unique properties in binding heteroaromatic guest molecules in a stereo and substrate selective manner. Organic electrochemistry and molybdenum-mediated coupling of aryls are used for the synthesis of the triphenylene ketals, applied to the total synthesis of natural products and the generation of intermediates.
