L²-Invarianten und K-Theorie

Ein Teilprojekt besteht aus der Untersuchung von L²-Invarianten, die in der Topologie, klassischen Geometrie, nicht-kommutativen Geometrie und der globalen Analysis auftreten und zudem Anwendungen aufund Gruppentheorie haben. Das andere Teilprojekt besteht aus der Untersuchung der Isomorphismus-Vermutungen in algebraischer K- und L-Theorie und topologischer K-Theorie und damit verbundener Fragestellungen der algebraischen Topologie und der Klassifikation von Mannigfaltigkeiten.
