Infektiologie

Übergeordnetes Ziel des 2002 initiierten Infektiologischen Forschungsprogramms ist die Entwicklung neuer Strategien gegen Infektionen durch Pilze und Viren. Der Schwerpunkt des Programms liegt auf der klinischen und präklinischen Entwicklung neuer antimikrobieller Substanzen, der Dosisfindung und Evaluation von Sicherheit und Verträglichkeit von antimikrobiellen Substanzen bei pädiatrischen Patienten mit Abwehrschwäche, sowie Untersuchungen zur Epidemiologie und Resistenzentwicklung in vitro.
