Critical review of order strengthening
Recent developments in the field of strengthening structural materials by precipitates of
intermetallic phases have been critically assessed. The emphasis is on reviewing current
models; they are applied to d'-strengthened
aluminium-lithium-alloys and to g'-strengthened superalloys.
