About us

We are a group of European transnational researchers that have a focussed research interest in biodiversity, climate change and ecosystems and so decided to follow up on the  BiodivRestore call for transnational research projects on "Conservation and restoration of degraded ecosystems and their biodiversity, including a focus on aquatic systems".

We submitted a joint proposal within the framework of the former Horizon 2020 programme funded by the European Commission and their ERA-NET Cofund actions to BiodivRestore, which is a European partnership between biodiversa and Water JPI who represent the European Commission regarding grants for funding of research in the field of biodiversity.

The universities involved in this project are:

Netherlands - Radboud University Nijmegen      
Poland - Adam Mickiewicz University Poznan

As part of the name of the ERA-NET Cofund programme already suggests, funding is granted in part by the European Commission through  biodiversa+ and the respective national research funding agencies which are as follows:
