ResearchBase – collect and manage research data on a project-by-project basis

Service: ResearchBase is a web-based service for the collection, cataloguing and management research data and metadata. As a configurable tool, it enables researchers at the University of Münster to store and manage their research data, information, and objects on a project-specific basis and in accordance with recognized standards.
ResearchBase is built on the fylr platform and is operated by the University and State Library (ULB) within the university's own infrastructure.

Service features:

• Collection and cataloguing of research data through custom‑tailored metadata models
• Viewing, exporting and sharing data in a variety of formats
• Role‑ and permission management to support collaborative workflows
• Central data hosting and configuration by the ULB Münster, with regular backups
• Available as an internal project tool or, optionally, for public presentation

Target group: faculty, researchers, research units (including departments, centres and internal units and institutions)
