Motivation

"As a student, you usually integrate into existing structures and gain your first academic experiences. Like many others, I have always dreamed of leading a project of my own one day. The iGEM competition gives us exactly that opportunity: to build something from the ground up. From developing the initial idea to working in the lab and delivering the final pitch, every step is part of the journey.

I look forward to coming into the lab and our office every day, working on how we can bring our vision into the world. iGEM is a unique opportunity for students to actively contribute and present their own project on an international stage. I am proud to represent the University of Münster this year. Seeing the innovative spirit of teams from around the world makes iGEM a true source of optimism for me—a glimpse into an exciting future that I am grateful to help shape."
