We’ve successfully wrapped up the Plant Physiology practical course for almost 300 students. Fantastic work by the entire team!

Today we welcome Jonah, who will explore signaling pathways in tomato roots as part of his research module.

Till has successfully finished his research module, advancing an induced protein degradation approach. Great job.

We are happy to welcome Laureen for her Bachelor thesis work. She will study specific stress responses in Arabidopsis roots.

A new collaborative paper published in Chemistry: A European Journal

We could recently test a new fluorescent dye called PyPe developed by the colleagues from Chemistry Department (UniFR, CH). We could show that it has a low toxicity in plant cells. PyPe stains cell walls and penetrates cytoplasm, but is not labelling plasma membrane.
