After an inspiring talk on signaling specificity in Arabidopsis roots, we had a lunch together and made a group photo!


Ora gave her Inauguration Lecture, followed by celebration with colleagues and family!

We could recently test a new fluorescent dye called PyPe developed by the colleagues from Chemistry Department (UniFR, CH). We could show that it has a low toxicity in plant cells. PyPe stains cell walls and penetrates cytoplasm, but is not labelling plasma membrane.

25.08.2025: Ora presented the latest findings on the development of water-conducting tissues in roots at the prestigious international scientific conference (FASEB: Mechanisms in Plant Development) near Boston, USA.

Tobias had a research training week in Switzerland with Dr. Salves Cornelis and Morgane Gulle.
