Changes to the bachelor's degree programmes and Master of Education programmes governed by the framework examination regulations (both LABG 2009 as well as the pilot project) officially went into effect upon their publication in the AB 6/2016 (Official Announcements of the University of Münster) on 15 February 2016. These changes affect the registration and de-registration modalities for degree-relevant coursework, and specifically the withdrawal deadlines for examinations. With regard to the QISPOS registration and de-registration period in the winter semester 2016/17, this means:
Registration with QISPOS is possible from 2 May to 27 June 2017.
De-registration with QISPOS is possible from 2 May to 11 June 2017.
Furthermore, a change has been made with regard to de-registering for written examinations in the above-mentioned bachelor's programmes and Master of Education programmes. Students are now allowed to withdraw from written examinations seven calendar days prior to the examination date without having to provide a reason.
If the Examinations Office knows the examination date far enough in advance, the date will be posted in QISPOS. Students may then de-register for the examination through QISPOS if they wish.
If no examination date is listed in QISPOS, students must notify the Examinations Office of their wish to deregister by completing and submitting the provided form.
Regulations on registering and de-registering can vary for subject-based bachelor's and master's degree programmes. These programmes are not affected by the changes in the framework examination regulations.
Please note that registration periods may vary for final module examinations and other degree-relevant examinations and coursework. You can find all legally valid dates and deadlines on the webpage of the Examinations Office responsible for your degree programme. Students are occasionally required to register for final module written examinations within a certain registration period. Students are generally required to register for final module oral examinations in person at the Examinations Office within a certain registration period. For more information, visit the webpage of your Examinations Office.
During the registration period, you may also withdraw from an examination without having to provide any reason.
Students are not allowed to take examinations or participate in degree-relevant coursework for which they have not previously registered in QISPOS. If a student takes an examination without prior registration, it will not be graded.
QISPOS registration for degree-relevant coursework and examinations is not yet possible for some bachelor's and master's degree programmes. For more information, please contact the Examinations Office responsible for your degree programme.
