The university e-mail address
Every student receives a university e-mail address on enrolment day. It is userID@uni-muenster.de. It is valid until the end of your studies and can be renewed by joining the Alumni-Club. Important information will be spread by the university administration on a regular basis, therefore, please fetch your e-mails frequently.
The university e-mail address can be personalized under Mein ZIV, so that the format might be as follows: firstname.surname@uni-muenster.de. Additionally, a maximum of three aliases can be created. Furthermore, it is possible to activate automatic forwarding to an e-mail address at a different provider. Moreover, we offer free anti-virus/spam protection. For this, due to legal reasons, we need you to activate the virus/spam filtering under Mein ZIV.
