Experimental Geochemistry and Petrology
The experimental investigations add to our knowledge of accretion and primordial
differentiation processes as well as to our knowledge of element enrichment
processes in massive sulfide ore complexes. With the experimentally derived data it
may be even possible to characterize the source of basalts and discriminate between
different geotectonical settings. - Phase relations in the Fe-Ni-Cu-PGE-S
system at magmatic temperature and siderophile element partitioning between
coexisting metal, metal sulfide and silicate phases - Textural equilibria of iron
sulfide liquids in partly molten silicate aggregates - Solubilities of sulfur in
silicate melts and the influence of additional chalcophile elements on the S solubility
- Fractionation mechanisms of chromite in conjugate fluid/silicate melt
systems - a case for flotation in nature
