Sagittal and vertical frontal dentoalveolar mandibular development in young eugnathic patients

The purpose of this retrospective longitudinal study was to establish a set of cephalometric sex-dependend standard values for sagittal and vertical growth of the frontal dental-alveolar mandibles in young eugnathic patients. The subject were 77 (36 male, 41 female) white patients with Angle Class I from the Bolton Brush Growth Study Cleveland, Ohio. Lateral cephalometric radiographs were digitized in a computer-assisted way to determine the development of the lingual and labial bone extension of the frontal dento-alveolar mandible.
