Within the Department of Chemistry and Pharmaceutics, the Institute of Organic Chemistry offers a variety of services to students and internal and external researchers.

Analytic Departments

Our three analytic departments Mass Spectrometry, NMR Spectroscopy und X-Ray Structural Analysis provide routine measurement on demand as well as complex analyses on special orders.

In addition to recording data, we offer support in interpretation, evaluation and planning. Furthermore, students and scientists are always welcome to participate in the organized or individual teaching program of the departments or, if interested, to perform measurements on their own.

Service

Besides the support in chemical issues, our service institutions offer multifaceted help in constructing equipment (glass blowing workshop, precision-engineering and mechanical workshop), in maintenance and in developing the laboratory and communication infrastructure. Our staff at the Administration Office ("Geschäftszimmer") is ready to assist you in solving questions concerning your studies, such as signing in for courses, information, or handing over certificates.
