Current Reseach projects

Major research interests are physiology, molecular genetics, cell biology and ultrastructure of fungi, focusing on biotechnologically relevant and phytopathogenic species. All standard genetic and molecular techniques are available, including transformation systems for filamentous fungi (knock outs, insertional mutant libraries), biochemical analysis of proteins and secondary metabolites, and modern cytological methods.
