Academic Staff Council

The PRwissWWU represents the interests of the approximately 6700 academic employees at the WWU on the basis of the Landespersonalvertretungsgesetz (LPVG NRW):

• academic salaried employees, civil servants
• research assistants
• teaching staff for special tasks (LfbA)
• lecturers with a teaching load of 4 SWS or more.

We are involved in personnel matters such as: hiring, contract changes, termination, grouping, transfer within the department, rejection of an application for part-time employment or leave.

The PRwissWWU takes care of employees' complaints, problems and questions. We will be happy to advise you or put you in touch with other competent contacts.

The PRwissWWU meets on Tuesdays from 14:00.
