Mapping Processes in SAP

Content: The operative handling of business processes in private companies and public institutions today is carried out exclusively with the help of special business software. The lecture first provides an overview of the key and support processes in companies. Afterwards, the basics of the SAP enterprise software will be explained and it will be pointed out how selected processes are implemented = mapped and operationally handled in SAP by using this software. Examples also illustrate the use of modern processes/methods such as RPA (Robotic Process Automation) or artificial intelligence.

Course format: Lecture with interactive elements and written exam

Target Group: Students of all disciplines who are interested in the use of business software in the modelling of entrepreneurial processes. Basic knowledge of business administration is an advantage.

Credit Points: 3 LP in the context of General Studies with successful participation in the final examination.
