Overview

ZIVHPC is a cluster consisting of 240 CPU cores. The login node ZIVSMP has 64 CPU cores, the 20 compute nodes have 8 cores each.

The configuration in detail:

Compute nodes node001-node020:

  • 32 GB main memory
  • 2 Quad Core AMD Opteron 2352 CPUs, 2.1 GHz

Head node zivsmp:

  • 512 GB main memory
  • 4 AMD Opteron 6380 CPUs, 2.5 GHz, 16 cores each

Accelerator nodes phi1 and phi2

  • 64 GB main memory
  • Two Intel Xeon E5-2609 CPUs, 2,4 GHz
  • 4 Intel Xeon Phi 5110P accelerators with 60 cores, 1.053 GHz and 8 GB RAM
