In einem Interview mit Information Today (s.u.) hat der Springer CEO Derk Haank bestätigt, dass ab sofort alle Springer-Autoren ihre Artikel auf eigene Webseiten oder Hochschulschriftenserver deponieren dürfen, dies gilt für (frühere) Kluwer-Titel ebenso:

„Essentially, our policy is the same as that announced recently by Elsevier. Authors can put the corrected version of their own article (their version, not Springer’s) either on their own Web site or in their institutional repository. We also require them to put a link back to our PDF file.“
