Presentation of poster at SCA EXPO

The Specialty Coffee Association’s Specialty Coffee Expo is an opportunity for coffee professionals to gather and interact with representatives of NGOs and academia. In this year’s scientific poster session, TRANS SUSTAIN’s Janina Grabs presented a poster on “The effectiveness of sustainability standards in improving ecosystem conservation”, which probed both which definitions of terrestrial ecosystem conservation were pursued by private sustainability standards, and what impacts such strategies had in the field. The poster raised great interest by both fellow academics as well as coffee industry actors.
