On April 28 and 29, the "Studying and Elite Sport" conference took place in Bochum, organized by the German University Sports Association (adh). Laura van de Loo, Dr. Barbara Halberschmidt, and Prof. Dr. Bernd Strauß presented initial findings from the project "Dual Career – Compatibility of Studying and Elite Sport". Numerous representatives from the DOSB (German Olympic Sports Federation), the Olympic training centers, career counselors, university staff, and elite athletes participated in intensive discussions and developed recommendations for action.
