Temporary measures of protection against the new coronavirus in the library of the Institute of Slavic Studies

Our library is closed until further notice, but you can get a special limited access by prior order in the online reservation system.

After prior order in the online reservation system you can use the library for research, copying, scanning, borrowing. Only five users are allowed to be here at the same time.

How you can book an individual place in our library?

Overview of the different timeslots in which the access is possible:
Monday 10:00-11:30/12:00-13:30
Wednesday 10:00-11:30/12:00-13:30
Friday 10:00-11:30

You can book a short-term slot (90 minutes) or a long-term slot (180 minutes). For Fridays you can book only slots for 90 minutes. It doesn't matter, how they are called. You can book a slot seven days until one hour before your visit begins. The access is limited: It is not expected for everyone to take regulary more than one slot in a day or more than two slots in a week, but a last minute booking of short-term vacancies is always possible. If you wish to cancel your booked place, please confirm cancellation in the online reservation system.

Seats available in short term can be booked “last minute” from one hour before the time slot starts, even if your reservation budget per day or per week is already exhausted. In case you cannot use a reservation you can easily cancel it; if you cancel up to 24 hours before the start of the reservation, you can use this “slot budget” for a reservation on another date. For further information see the website of University and State Library of Münster (ULB).

Please identify yourself at the entrance control with the ULB library card you registered during the reservation.
Alternatively, you can use the so-called "Self-Check-in" on your smartphone shortly before the start of your booked time slot. You will receive further information on the "Self-Check-in" in the confirmation email sent to you after the reservation. Lockers are available for storing bags, jackets and working materials.
