Dennis E. Discher: Mechanosensing by the Lamina Protects against Nuclear Rupture, DNA Damage, and Cell-Cycle Arrest
Lecture series 'Pioneers in Cell Dynamics and Imaging'
by Dennis Discher, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia/USA
Host: Erez Raz, Cells-in-Motion Cluster of Excellence
International scientists setting milestones in cell dynamics and imaging present their most recent scientific advances in basic and translational research. The lectures start at 5:30pm. At 5:00pm a reception in front of the lecture hall will be held where you can meet colleagues for interdisciplinary exchange while having free drinks and snacks. The talks are held in English.
The lecture series is a cooperation project of the Cells in Motion Interfaculty Centre and the Collaborative Research Centres CRC 1009 'Breaking Barriers', CRC 1348 'Dynamic Cellular Interfaces', CRC/Transregio 58 'Fear, Anxiety, Anxiety Disorders' and CRC/Transregio 128 'Multiple Sclerosis'.
