Am Fachbereich 07 – Psychologie und Sportwissenschaft, Institut für Psychologie – der Westfälischen Wilhelms-Universität Münster ist zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt eine
W3-Professur für Klinische Psychologie des Kindes- und Jugendalters
zu besetzen.
Die zukünftige Stelleninhaberin/der zukünftige Stelleninhaber soll das Fach Klinische Psychologie des Kindes- und Jugendalters in Forschung und Lehre vertreten. In der Forschung wird ein international ausgewiesenes sehr erfolgreiches und einschlägiges Forschungsprofil im Bereich klinischer Kinder- und Jugendlichenpsychologie erwartet. In der Lehre soll die zukünftige Stelleninhaberin/der zukünftige Stelleninhaber den Aufbau des neuen Masterstudiengangs „Psychologie mit Schwerpunkt Klinische Psychologie und Psychotherapie“ maßgeblich mitgestalten, sowie im Bachelorstudiengang das Fach Klinische Psychologie mit vertreten. Die zukünftige Stelleninhaberin/der zukünftige Stelleninhaber muss die Approbation als Kinder- und Jugendlichenpsychotherapeut*in oder als Psychologische/r Psychotherapeut/in mit Zusatzqualifikation Kinder- und Jugendlichenpsychotherapie (Fachkunde Verhaltenstherapie) sowie die Supervisionsberechtigung erworben haben. Zu dem Fachbereich gehört eine Psychotherapieambulanz. In dieser soll die Abteilung Kinder- und Jugendlichenpsychotherapie von der zukünftigen Stelleninhaberin/dem zukünftigen Stelleninhaber als neuer Bereich etabliert werden.
Von der zukünftigen Stelleninhaberin/dem zukünftigen Stelleninhaber werden didaktische Kompetenzen sowie ein überdurchschnittliches Engagement in der Lehre erwartet. Zudem sollte sie/er bisher sehr erfolgreich bei der Einwerbung von Drittmittelgeldern gewesen sein. Ebenso wird eine Anschlussfähigkeit an die Forschungsschwerpunkte der Lehreinheit Psychologie erwartet.
Voraussetzungen für die Bewerbung sind neben einem universitären Abschluss in Psychologie (MSc/Dipl.) wissenschaftliche Leistungen, die im Rahmen einer Juniorprofessur, einer Habilitation oder einer Tätigkeit als wissenschaftliche/r Mitarbeiter/in an einer Hochschule oder außeruniversitären Einrichtung oder im Rahmen einer wissenschaftlichen Tätigkeit in Wirtschaft, Verwaltung bzw. in einem anderen gesellschaftlichen Bereich im In- oder Ausland erbracht worden sind. Vorerfahrungen mit Strukturen ambulanter Versorgung sowie der Leitung einer Kinder- und Jugendlichenambulanz sind wünschenswert.

The Institute of Psychology in the Faculty of Psychology / Sport and Exercise Sciences (FB 7) of the University of Münster (WWU), Germany, seeks to fill the position of a
W3-level professorship in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology
at the earliest possible date.
The prospective candidate shall represent the entire spectrum of research and teaching activities in the subject area of clinical child and adolescent psychology. Our ideal candidate is an internationally distinguished academic with an exceptionally high-quality research output in the field of clinical child and adolescent psychology. In terms of teaching, we expect the candidate to actively shape and expand the new M.Sc. degree programme “Psychology with Specialisation in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy”, as well as, in the B.Sc. degree programme “Psychology”, teach the subject Clinical Psychology. The prospective candidate must be a licensed psychotherapist for children and adolescents, or a licensed psychological psychotherapist with additional qualification in child and adolescent psychotherapy (with licensed specialization in behaviour therapy). Moreover, the candidate must have supervisory certification. The faculty operates an outpatient clinic for psychotherapy. The prospective candidate will be responsible for establishing a new section of this clinic for child and adolescent psychotherapy.
The prospective candidate should have university teaching experience, and should have demonstrated above-average commitment to her/his teaching responsibilities. Furthermore, s/he should have been very successful at securing third-party funding in the past. We also expect integrability with research focuses at the Institute of Psychology.
To be eligible for this position, the candidate should hold a university degree in psychology (MSc/Dipl.) and extensive academic qualifications obtained through an assistant professorship, postdoctoral qualification, as a member of the academic staff of a university or non-university research institute, or in a research position in business, industry, administration or other relevant field. Prior experience with the management of an outpatient clinic for children and adolescents with mental disorders is an advantage.
