Salary Level: E13 TV-L (65%)
Starting from 1 April 2020 or later, the position is for a period of 3 years and is 65% FTE, which corresponds to a weekly working time of currently 25 hours 53 minutes. The position offers the possibility to carry out research for a PhD thesis.
The interdisciplinary working group is based at the University of Münster and provides exciting research opportunities in the fields of chemical biology, RNA biochemistry and molecular biology with applications in cell and developmental biology. Applicants should possess an excellent Master of Science in chemistry with a focus on organic and biochemistry and fluent English (spoken and written). Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in enzymatic production and chemical modification of mRNA.
