Doctoral Research Associate in Applied Mathematics

(salary level TV-L E13, 75%)

Applications are invited for a 3-year PhD position (75% TV-L E13) in the group of Caterina Zeppieri (Applied Mathematics: Institute for Analysis and Numerics, University of Münster, Germany) within the framework of the DFG priority programme:

"Variational Methods for Predicting Complex Phenomena in Engineering Structures and Materials (SPP 2256)"

The candidate shall have a master’s degree in mathematics (or in a closely related field). Applications from candidates who are about to finish their Master programme are also welcome.

The successful candidate will benefit from the stimulating environment and facilities of the Cluster of Excellence "Mathematics Münster: Dynamics - Geometry - Structure".

The expected starting date is 1 October 2020 although a later starting date is also possible.
