The Chair of Management Accounting & Control at the WWU Münster invites applications for the position of

Doctoral Student/Research Assistant (f/m)
(salary group 13 TV-L at 75% of a full-time equivalent).

The entry date can be determined in accordance with applicants’ preferences but is desired to be as soon as possible. The contract is restricted to three years but can be extended if necessary. Please apply at any time, which may be several months prior to your graduation.

What you can expect

We conduct empirical research on management control, performance management, and strategy implementation. We strive to advance corporate practice by providing state-of-the-art research insights in these core areas.

Your operational tasks are related, but not limited, to teaching, academic consulting in our practitioner research network and/or administrative duties.

What you should offer

You have successfully reached or currently demonstrate exceptional achievements in your studies of business administration, economics or a related field and hold a Master’s or equivalent degree at the beginning of your potential employment. During your studies, you acquired knowledge in statistical and empirical research, econometrics, and applied data analysis.

You are interested in our core topics and in empirical research on an international level. Additionally, you have pronounced analytical and English language skills.

Further, you are able to work independently and have a structured and goal-oriented work ethic. It excites you to work in a team, and to broaden your academic and personal horizon.
