(Bringing Innovative Developments for Geographic Information Technology)

Ziel des BRIDGE-IT-Projekts sind Design und Demonstration innovativer und generischer Technologien für den Einsatz geographischer Information in verschiedenen Anwendungsgebieten (). Aufgaben des ifgi sind Technology Watch, i.e. semantische Interoperabilität, und Konzeption elektronischer GI-Marktplätze.
