Ionic Transport in Polymer Electrolytes of Variable Composition
The project aims at investigating long-range migration of cations and anions in
polymer-salt systems using radiotracer diffusion and electrochemical measurements. To
avoid water and oxygen contamination during the preparation and handling of the
polymer electrolytes we installed an inert atmosphere glove box. The installation of a
rotary microtome with a low-temperature sectioning system allows for the measurement
of diffusion profiles by means of the radiotracer method.
