Westernforschungszentrum und Bibliothek

Die im Forschungszentrum wirkenden Personen betreiben in Zusammenarbeit mit Westernforschern aus Deutschland und den USA autonome und freie Forschung zu einem ureigenen amerikanischen literarischen Genre sowie dessen Wirkungsweisen in historischer Perspektive. Das Forschungszentrum ist Herausgeber der Zeitschrift Studies in the Western.
