In the field of electron impact ionization, the (e,2e) technique
yields detailed information on the dynamics of the single ionization
process. In this talk I will discuss our recent (e,2e) investigations
of inner-shell and valence-shell ionization of noble gas atoms
and of the molecule nitrous oxide (N2O).
