Dr. Gabriele Benomio joins Mathematics Münster as a Young Research Fellow. He is a Research Scholar (postdoc) at The Princeton Gravity Initiative. In Münster, he is part of Prof. Dr. Gustav Holzegel’s group for four months until 15 February 2021.

Gabriele Benomio is working on stability and instability phenomena for black hole spacetimes. He graduated from Imperial College London in 2020. In his thesis he discovered a new instability phenomenon for black ring spacetimes in general relativity and developed a novel framework to address the stability of the Kerr solution.
