Description Simsen, chatten, telefonieren am liebsten überall, selbst das "stille Örtchen" in öffentlichen Anlagen bleibt von der Kommunikationssucht nicht verschont. Die neuen Kommunikationstechnologien haben das soziale Handeln gravierend verändert. Die Grenzen zwischen Privatheit und Öffentlichkeit werden vom Individuum aufgehoben. Scham- und Peinlichkeitsschwellen scheinen unaufhörlich zu sinken. Ist der Zivilisationsprozess (Norbert Elias) am Ende? Im Seminar werden wir den Wandel der Kommunikationsformen mit seinen Auswirkungen auf soziales Handeln soziologisch untersuchen.
