Description |
The consolidation in a mandatory elective subject is accompanied by an introduction to project-related work, as is typical for scientific or industry-related work. Therefore, in the elective courses Photonics and Magnonics and Nonlinear Physics instead of the offered elective internships and seminars. Within the framework of a mini-research project you will work scientifically on a smaller research task. Alternatively, depending on the elective course, this work can also be done in research groups abroad or in industry. This is not a ready-made internship, but an independent contribution to the solution of partial problems within the framework of one of our research programs: You will be directly involved in current research and help to advance it. The work will be concluded with a seminar lecture. The topic, timing and duration of the projects are not rigidly predetermined. The projects are carried out in consultation with the supervising working groups and are designed to produce results in 2-4 weeks of block seminars.
