Description

Ausgehend von Musik und Person Beethovens als Gegenstand moderner Mythenbildung werden n1ehrere Verkör-perungen des Prometheus-Mythos in Musik und Literatur betrachtet.
Das musikalisch-technisch Mögliche wird in Bezug gesetzt zu Diskursen der Machbarkeit von Shelleys Frankenstein bis zum Scheitern der "Zauberlehrlinge".
Behandelt werden Werke von Beethoven, Schubert, Liszt über Skrjabin bis Nono.
