Description

Within the seminar students will get in touch with theories and models about motor development and motor performance. A focus will be on different motor assessments for identifying deficits, talents, motor competence and physical fitness.

IMPORTANT: the seminar will be devided in two parts: theoretical parts are weekly on wednesday, 8.30h to 10h. A practical part will folow in the time period between Feb. 15th and March 10th (not interferring with any examinations). In the practical part students will transfer their learned theoretical knowledge into practice. Therfore, students will take part in motor tests in primary school settings. Also, students will get the opportunity to assess data about related factors (e.g. self-concept, cognition). Both parts are mandatory.
