Description Ratgeber für Fürsten und Handbücher der Staatskunst bilden vom Beginn der Abbasidenzeit bis in die Osmanenzeit einen der wichtigsten politischen Diskurse der islamischen Welt. Im Seminar werden wichtige arabische (evtl. auch persische) Texte behandelt und ihre jeweils unterschiedlichen Schwerpunkte analysiert.
