Description Die Veranstaltung behandelt den Wandel der brasilianischen Gesellschaft von der Sklavenhaltergesellschaft bis zur modernen Agrar- und Industriegesellschaft. Im Zentrum steht dabei Kontinuität und Reproduktion von sozialem Ausschluss und sozialer Ungleichheit im Prozess der "Modernisierung".
