In the seminars of Circus | Studies, which are part of the Master's programme Kulturpoetik der Literatur und Medien, close practical application is a main aim in order to prepare students for future professional fields already during their studies. Circus Semiotics (Summer Term 2015) focused research and science management as possible fields of work. Here, the students gained decisive insights into the organisation and implementation of academic conferences. Cultural poetics as dramaturgy (Summer Term 2019) dealt with the support of artistic creation processes. UpSideDown - Circus and Space (Summer Term 2017) focused on science communication, journalism and PR. Here the students wrote articles for the blog www.kulturproleten.de, which made the contents of the seminar available to the public.
