The meeting of the most important representatives of international circus research during the conferences became the occasion for intensive network meetings. These resulted in the Circus Arts Research Platform (CARP), which was developed in cooperation with international circus documentation centres such as the Centre national des Arts du Cirque (FR) , the École nationale des Arts du Cirque de Montréal (CA), Circusinfo Finland (FI) and Circuscentrum (BE). The worldwide unique platform CARP contains a bibliography of all academic literature on the circus, a map of all circus-specific libraries and archives, the profiles of international circus scholars, as well as a list of conferences and call-for-papers.

In addition, the project has established a department for circus research in the library of the German Institute of WWU.
